Hello all! I'm new to this and excited to meet new people! I am a sweet, bubbly person who loves talking about history, current events, and world travel. Ask me about my experiences traveling to 14 different countries :) I love going to museums, particularly history and art museums. My favorite type of art is that created in the Baroque and Romanticism periods (if it ain't Ba-roque, don't fix it!). I also like going to symphonies and I would love to see a ballet and/or opera someday. My personal philosophy is that almost everything can be improved with a glass of pinot grigio. I just completed my Bachelors degree at the University of Oklahoma with a dual degree (summa cum laude) in Arabic and Middle Eastern studies with a double minor in history and international security studies. I absolutely love learning about different cultures and it is my goal to visit all seven continents someday (four down, three to go)! I especially love hearing about other people's travels to countries in which I have not been because I love learning about other areas of the world. Someday, I would like to work for the State Department and travel the world but first I need help with funding for further education/study abroad. I enjoy spending time in the outdoors and doing active things. I especially love camping, hiking, and running. Last year, I ran a half marathon in Oklahoma City and I would like to train for one this year as well. Being healthy and fit is important to me so I like to go to the gym at least a few times a week.
