Your Creditcard CVV2 - Help Page

What is it?
CVV2 is an authentication scheme established by credit card companies to further efforts towards reducing fraud for internet transactions. It consists of requiring a card holder to enter the CVV2 number in at transaction time to verify that the card is on hand.

Where can I find it?
Visa, MasterCard, and Discover: Turn your card over and look in the signature strip. You will find (either the entire card number, or just the last 4 digits), followed by a space, followed by a 3-digit number. That 3-digit number is your CVV2 number.
American Express Cards: The CVV2 number is a 4-digit number that appears above the end of your card number.
